Dink for Dignity

Hospice of the North Country is thrilled to announce its second annual Dink for Dignity Pickleball Tournament, a fundraiser set to take place on Saturday, June 28 at the Malone Rec Park. (rain date June 29)

This exciting event welcomes pickleball enthusiasts of all skill levels for a day of spirited competition and camaraderie, with all proceeds directly benefiting the organization’s vital services. Pickleball, a rapidly growing sport known for its blend of tennis, badminton, and ping-pong, promises participants a fun day on the courts. Whether you're a seasoned player or a first timer, the tournament offers a welcoming environment to enjoy the game while supporting an important community resource.

"Hosting our second pickleball tournament is a wonderful opportunity to blend sport with giving, ensuring essential resources reach those who need it most," said Cathlyn Lamitie, Director of Development, Hospice of the North Country. "This tournament is made possible by the generosity of area business sponsorships—we're immensely grateful to them for making this event a reality."

Registration is made easy with online sign-up available at playtimescheduler.com, ensuring a seamless experience for participants to secure their spot. The entry fee includes a minimum of five games. The event lineup also includes Ragazzi Pizza food truck, Traveling Joe Coffee truck, winner medals, give-a-ways, and raffle prizes. "We encourage everyone to join us for a day of fun and friendly competition," added Lamitie. "Your participation will directly impact the lives of patients and families in our community."

Guests and spectators are welcome to watch teams vie for the championship title.
