Light up the Lake

Light up the Lake: Honoring the Journey of Healing (Open to all community members)

Join us for a moving evening as we gather to commemorate the lives of our cherished loved ones at the Youth & Sr. Citizen Pond in Malone. Light up the Lake is a heartwarming event where we honor and celebrate the memories of those we held dear. It's a time to reflect, connect, and find solace in the shared experience of loss. Prior to the event, we invite you to purchase floating candles for $20 each, providing an opportunity to honor your beloved family members or friends who have passed. We would like the candles to gracefully illuminate the pond as they drift, symbolizing the enduring love and cherished memories we hold in our hearts. Light up the Lake offers a supportive environment where individuals from all walks of life, who have experienced the loss of a loved one, can come together. Share your stories, listen to others, and find comfort in the company of empathetic people who understand the journey you have walked. We invite you to engage in gentle conversations, connect with others who have embarked on similar paths and discover a renewed sense of healing and hope within our compassionate community. We kindly request that you purchase your floating candles in advance, with proceeds supporting our mission. To purchase your candles: click here or stop by our Malone office (3909 State Route 11). Each candle represents a symbol of remembrance and offers solace to grieving hearts. Let us unite in our shared journey of love, remembrance, and healing. Taylor is singing to benefit our organization and we couldn’t be more proud to have her as our friend. We hope you drop into our Facebook Live Event on Saturday, July 18 at 7:00 p.m.

We know everyone is been affected by this Covid-19 pandemic in different ways—we hope you will find this concert an entertaining way to find positivity, even for just an hour. We appreciate any donation that fits your comfort level—please know you will be helping patients and families enjoy more moments, more hugs, more laughter, and more love
