Courageous Conversations

As we continue to celebrate National Hospice and Palliative Care Month, we turn our attention to Courageous Conversations. We asked our team: "Can you share an example of a courageous conversation you’ve had in your own life?" When families have courageous conversations about end-of-life care they become aware of their loved ones’ wishes and goals. These talks allow for informed decisions as well as reduced anxiety and uncertainty during challenging times. It is important that everyone feels heard and valued as important decisions are determined. We encourage people to have open and honest dialogue to build a foundation of support, understanding, and love.
